AMES, Iowa –
The TCU volleyball team ended its week on the road by dropping a 3-0 (25-15, 25-21, 25-16) decision to Iowa State on Saturday afternoon inside the Hilton Coliseum in Ames, Iowa.

The Horned Frogs (11-7, 3-4 Big 12) went point-for-point with the Cyclones (10-10, 3-4 Big 12) to start the match, but a late run by Iowa State gave them the opener, 25-15. After a slow start, TCU bounced back in the second set to take a two-point advantage but Iowa State did not back down and used strong blocking to come back and capture it 25-21. The Cyclones took the momentum from winning the opening two sets into the final set to finish off the match in a sweep.

Anna Walsh led TCU with 11 kills and only one error on 18 swings for a .556 hitting clip to go along with two service aces. Allye Beth Deaton, Katie Clarkand Lexi MacLean all chipped in six kills for the TCU offense on Saturday. Tori Dilfer finished with her fifth double-double of the year with 26 assists and 15 digs. Berklie Baker led the way from the backrow with 17 digs with MacLean finishing with 11 digs.

15 – Anna Walsh has now scored 15 double-digit kill matches this season including eight in a row. The senior has been in the double-digit kill category for all of the Big 12 matches played this season.
