GoFrogs: Track & Field Concludes Texas Relays
AUSTIN, Texas – TCU track and field concluded competition at the 92nd Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays on Saturday. Several of TCU's relays placed high in their respective finals and a pair of individuals competed well against talented fields in their events.

In the women's long jump, Destiny Longmire jumped an outdoor personal-best 6.34m (20-9.75) to finish second among collegians and third overall. Her previous outdoor best was 6.23m (20-5.25), which earned her Second-Team All-American status at the 2018 NCAA Outdoor Championships. Out of the top nine competitors on Saturday, only Longmire's jump was wind-legal. The only collegian ahead of Longmire was Jasmyn Steels of Northwestern State, the 2019 NCAA Indoor national champion in the long jump. Shakeela Saunders, the top finisher in the meet, is a former NCAA national champion and one of the top long jumpers in the world.

For the first time in 2019, TCU fielded all four of its 4x400 relay All-Americans from 2018. Darrion Flowers, Emmanuel Ogwo, Jostyn Andrews, and Derrick Mokaleng competed in the 4x400 relay invitational and finished with a third-place time of 3:05.78. TCU was the highest finisher from the Big 12, besting Baylor, Texas Tech, and Texas.

Competing in the men's 100m invitational, Tarrick Brock ran a wind-aided 10.21 to finish second among collegians and third overall.

Asiah Fields, Kennedy Crawford, Kiana Banks, and Lily Beckford finished fourth in the women's 4x400 relay finals, lowering their season time to 3:37.57.

In the women's 4x100 relay, Hope Glenn, Longmire, Jenea Spinks, and Teleda Williams improved upon their preliminary mark in the finals, finishing in 45.13 for a fourth-place finish.

The men's 4x100 relay also competed in the finals, with Lebogang Maloka, Brock, Flowers, and Mokaleng placing eighth with a time of 40.13.
