How are we set with shot put, discus and hammer? Wasn't there some really talented Brit who participated in Hammer or shot put? She still on the team?

I was always really jealous of SMU nick when they had Michael Carter on their squad. A true stud!

NF
Yep same, Carter was a bad dude, and was a hella good nose tackle in FB. Seemed like he started for them for about 7 years.

Is it just my imagination, or does it seem like our Athletics Dept is doing a more proactive job of publicizing sports across the board lately? Maybe it's just a spillover effect of my not being depressed about Gary any more, IDK.

carter w shot and maybe discus, richard weir (sp?) was the brit hammer throw, keith conner was a horizontal jump specialist, and sammy koski was middle distance.

charles waggoner ran track after injuring his neck his freshman season in football and i think russell carter ran a few springs, but don't think either scored for that national title
