Tournament-Best Round Moves Frogs Up after Second Round
TCU begins the final round at 6:40 a.m.CHARLESTON, S.C. – The best round of The Bryson Invitational through 36 holes belongs to the TCU men's golf team which finished Tuesday's second round 13-under 275.
All five of the Horned Frogs made their way through the Daniel Island Club at or below par, led by Toby Wilt's 5-under 67. The senior made six birdies and moved up 29 spots to tie for 17th place.
Jack Beauchamp moved up eight places after shooting 4-under 68. He is tied for sixth place overall at 7-under 138, just two shots behind the leader, Ryan Ford (-9) from Cincinnati.
Freshman Sam Udovich had the best round of his young career, shooting 3-under 69. He is tied for 24th place at 1-under 143.
Hudson Wilt and Lewis Wright are tied for 61st place at 3-over 147.
As a team, TCU moved up four spots and tied with Liberty for eighth at 8-under par. Vanderbilt leads the tournament at 18-under.
The Horned Frogs will begin the final round at 6:40 a.m. CT on Wednesday on hole No. 1.
