GoFrogs: Three Frogs to Play in Charles Schwab Challenge

FORT WORTH – When the PGA Tour resumes this week at the Charles Schwab Challenge it will have 17 of the top 20 players in the world in it as well as three former TCU men's golfers.

Franklin Corpening, J.J. Henry and Tom Hoge will be a part of the 144-person field at Colonial Country Club, less than a mile away from the TCU campus. It is believed that three TCU alumni in one PGA Tour event is the most in program history.

Henry will make the 554th PGA Tour start of his career and a record 19th straight start at the Charles Schwab Challenge. The 1998 TCU graduate has played in every event at Colonial since his debut in 2002.

Hoge will make his 147th career PGA Tour start. The 2011 TCU graduate is having his best season on the tour, ranking 22nd in the FedExCup. In September, Hoge had the best finish of his career when he was second at A Military Tribute at The Greenbrier.

Corpening, who graduated in 2008, will make his fourth-career PGA Tour start. The Fort Worth native played in 10 events on the Mackenzie Tour in 2008 and has played in 44 Korn Ferry Tour events.

Featured groups will be shown online at PGATour.com/live beginning at 7:45 a.m. Thursday through Sunday. The tournament will air on Golf Channel 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday and noon – 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. CBS has coverage 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

I don't understand what is going on here. Why are they just following 2 groups? They've lost most of the graphics.
The commentators stink. With no graphics, what hole is it? What stroke?
No, that's a mourning dove, not an owl, you moron.
And are they saying that after today, I have to subscribe in order to watch? Dream on.
