OKLAHOMA CITY -- TCU women's basketball played in its first Big 12 Championship semifinal, but couldn't knock off top-seeded Baylor, falling 94-48 at Chesapeake Energy Arena on Sunday afternoon.

TCU (19-12) has now seen eight of its 12 loses come against ranked teams, including five against top-10 teams and three to the No. 3 Lady Bears in the last three weeks.

Baylor (30-1) got to the free throw line early, building momentum in the first quarter that TCU couldn't overcome. The Lady Bears outrebounded TCU, 49-19, and held the Frogs to just four second-chance points.

Jordan Moore and Amy Okonkwo led the Frogs with 12 points each, but could only play three combined minutes in the first quarter due to foul trouble. Kalani Brown led the Lady Bears with 28 points and 11 rebounds.

Defining Moments
The score went back-and-forth early, but TCU got into early foul trouble and Baylor took advantage at the line in the first quarter. The Frogs missed six straight shots late in the first quarter, and combined with Baylor's 9-of-12 free throws, the Lady Bears led by 15 after 10 minutes, 28-13.

Baylor then had a 12-0 run early in the second quarter that extended the lead to 27 points at 42-15. The Lady Bears would push the lead to 29 points midway through the quarter before TCU made five of its last six shots to cut the lead to 20 at halftime, 52-32. In that stretch, Okonkwo scored nine points and Ella Hellesseymade a 3-pointer at the halftime buzzer.

TCU would score just five points in the third quarter, then Baylor started the fourth by making its first six shots, eventually extending its lead to a game-high 46 points.
