It feels a little silly to make this comparison, but these last two seasons are starting to feel like the last four under Patterson.
Great analogy. Just watched the same dumb playcalling with no adjustments expecting something to change. Good enough to beat number 1, and lose to number 250.

Frogs need a change in HC after this season , if for no other reason , to just change the status quo that Dixon brings to the program. Grateful for what he's done or tried to do, but he just can't get the program over the mediocrity hump it's been stuck in for a while now.
The rough thing is that he’s so much better than mediocre, but just may be holding on too tight. Everyone seems a bit mind”blank” at this point.

Mediocre playing B12 basketball is wonderful compared to pre-Dixon era. Just a thought.

Maybe the TCU men's basketball coach needs more resources to do better in this league, no matter who the coach is. Better to try to bulk up Dixon's program than to go through the expense and uncertainty (and possible awful consequences) of changing coaches. JMHO.

Yes, I was around for the men's BB purgatory years also. That being said, is TCU ok with being a 500 level ( or worse) BB program, even if it is better than what they used to be pre-Dixon?

Before conference play I said we are going to have a hard time winning 5 conference games. Hopefully I'm wrong and we can somehow win 8 of the last 13 conference games to finish 9-9.

Unless we have an incredible PG like Miles the team is mediocre at best. No rebuilding or beefing up under Dixon. It’s the same lame ass stuff every year. Can’t shoot FT’s, can’t hold a double digit lead late in the 2nd half, lose against mediocre teams in games you watch and wonder how is this happening.

Time to move on and start over. With NIL and the Portal you can build a winner in 1 season. The days of the multi year rebuild are over.

The refs for the women call way too many BS fouls, especially on illegal screens. It's not an illegal screen unless the defensive player tries to fight through it. That last call on Silva in the paint was BS.

His Big 12 record is 71-97. FAR from mediocre.
