No, we’re the same team we always are…play up or down to every opponent…but can’t ever hit free throws or realize that double teaming to leave their best shooter wide open is not a winning strategy.

I love Jamie Dixon, but I am sick and tired. MBB is no longer any fun.

It feels a little silly to make this comparison, but these last two seasons are starting to feel like the last four under Patterson.

How much do we owe Dixon? I wager it’s not enough to keep him and let him mire in mediocrity. Who has faith in him? If Indiana can build a title contending football team in 2 years we should be able to build a program that makes and wins 1-2 tournament games a year. They should let him go now so we can start the search.

Free throws and missed layups. Good enough to go on mini runs to get back in the game…but per usual, go soft after they catch up. The mental softness of Jamie’s teams is just ridiculous. I feel like the coaching moves make us soft. Punch gets us back in the game, then rides the pine at the end of the game. Why? Who cares if he fouls out if you’re going to lose due to Edmonds double teaming at half court.

Even in games we have a big lead, we stop trying to score…implication being we’re scared to lose…so then we get scared and miss free throws…and lose.

We coach too tight, then play tight and everybody looks dumb. No way you can foul a three point shooter at pivotal points in the game fours games in a row.
