• TCU will look for its sixth-straight win over Iowa State when the two teams meet in Ames, Iowa on Tuesday at 6 p.m. on ESPNU.
• The Frogs are looking for their second road win of the season after defeating Kansas State, 59-57, on Jan. 7. ISU is 10-5 at Hilton Coliseum, including 4-3 in the Big 12.
• Jamie Dixon has 411 career wins, tied with Jim Boeheim for the fifth-most of any head coach through 17 seasons.
• TCU leads the Big 12 in 3-pointers made per game (8.3) and blocks (5.1). The Frogs rank 17th nationally in blocks per game.
• TCU’s three returning players from last season are senior Desmond Bane and sophomores RJ Nembhard and Kevin Samuel.
• Bane, who earned multiple preseason honors, including one of 10 finalists for the Jerry West Shooting Guard of the Year Award, ranks third in the Big 12 in scoring (15.6) and leads the Big 12 in 3-point field
goal percentage (41.4) and first in 3-point field goals made (2.7). He’s made a 3-pointer in 17 straight games.
• Samuel is shooting 65.8 percent from the field and is averaging 8.7 rebounds per game, which ranks sixth in the Big 12, and 2.8 blocks per game, which leads the Big 12 and ranks 11th in the nation. Samuel’s 11
double-doubles rank second in the Big 12. He's had at least five blocks in a game eight times this season.
• Bane is top five all-time at TCU in career points (5th), field goals (5th) and 3-pointers (4th). At 1,675 career points, Bane is chasing Dick O’Neal for fourth at 1,723 points.
• At 153 career blocked shots, Samuel is fifth on TCU's all-time list. Kurt Thomas is next at 166 blocks. At 76 blocks this season, Samuel is one away from his total last season.
• Edric Dennis is three points away from 1,000 DI career points. Dennis was at Jackson State as a sophomore and UTA as a junior.

LAST TIME OUT
Kevin Samuel’s team-high 19 points and clutch free throw shooting helped lead TCU to a 67-60 victory in overtime over No. 17 West Virginia Saturday inside Schollmaier Arena. The win marked the Horned Frogs’ largest come-from-behind victory this season as they were down 10 points early. Samuel was 7-of-7 from the field and 5-of-6 from the free throw line. The sophomore center also grabbed eight rebounds and blocked five shots.

ABOUT THE OPPONENT
Iowa State is 11-16 overall and 4-10 in the Big 12 following an 87-57 loss to Texas Tech Saturday. The Cyclones have been without its leader in scoring, rebounding and assists, Tyrese Haliburton, who
suffered a wrist injury. He had a triple-double in the first meeting with the Frogs. Sophomore guard Rasir Bolton is second in scoring at 14.5 points per game.

SERIES HISTORY
TCU has won the last five meetings to tie the all-time series 11-11. Iowa State leads the series 6-3 in Ames, but has lost the last two. TCU shot 53.2 percent and Desmond Bane and Kevin Samuel each scored 17 points to defeat No. 17 ISU, 92-83.
