GoFrogs: TCU Opens Indoor Season in College Station

COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS — TCU's track and field teams opened the indoor season on Saturday at the Reveille Invitational.

First Place
Women's 1 mile - Mariah Castillo (4:48.54)
Women's pole vault - Tysen Townsend (3.75m)

Track Events
Rainey Anderson registered a new personal best in the 60m hurdles. The sophomore ran a 8.02, besting his prevues best by .04.
Hope Glenn placed second in the women's 60m with a time of 7.46.
Blake Hennesay (21.69) and TJ Brock (21.81) finished third and fourth, respectively, in the men's 200m.

Field Events
Tysen Townsend won the women's pole vault with a height of 3.75m. Kendahl Shue (3.65m) followed behind in third place.
Jordan Williams placed third in the women's shot put with a throw of 13.47. She also finished in third in the weight throw (14.33).
In the men's pole vault, Adam McAdoo also took third place, clearing a height of 4.90m.
Freshman Keiley Sharp and Jill Johnson took third and fourth, respectively, in the women's high jump. Both cleared 1.69m.
Another Frog claimed third place in the men's long jump. Freshman Sam Corley jumped 6.71m.

Up Next
TCU travels to Lubbock, Texas, for its next meet. The Red Raider Invitational runs from Jan. 24-25.
