Bakersfield has shown it can be a tough road team. The Roadrunners won 3 straight on the road to get to New York in the 2017 NIT that TCU won, and jumped out to a big first-half lead in all of those games. They led Cal by 25 at the half (won by 7), led Colorado State by 20 at half (won by 18), and led UT-Arlington by 16 at half (pushed it to 20 before winning by 4).
They were the first 8 seed ever to advance to Madison Square Garden. I remember being glad that Georgia Tech took them out in the semi-final.
