GoFrogs: TCU Falls to No. 16 Texas Tech, 84-65
LUBBOCK, Texas - Sophomore Kouat Noi scored 17 points and freshman Kevin Samuel had a double-double to lead TCU, but the Horned Frogs dropped an 84-65 decision on Monday night inside the United Supermarkets Arena to No. 16 Texas Tech.

The Frogs (15-5, 3-4) grabbed an early 6-2 lead off hot shooting from Noi, but the Red Raiders (17-5, 5-3) hit their stride and went on a 35-12 run in the first half to take a 43-27 lead at the break.

Tech led by as many as 19 in the second half before TCU closed the gap to 10 after an alley-oop from freshman Kendric Davis to Samuel. However, Tech continued its torid shooting and shot 54.2 percent from the field including 42.9 percent from three and never gave up the lead on its way to victory.

Four Horned Frogs scored in double digits with Noi leading the way followed by Desmond Bane (13), Samuel (10) and Davis (10). Samuel's 12 rebounds led TCU followed by five boards from JD Miller.

We were terrible in every phase. Worst game I have seen us play perhaps in the Dixon era.

What has happened to Miller? He has been a non-factor the last few games.

Disappointed in 22. He seems lost and overwhelmed at a time when he is needed to step up.

Gotta win at home and see what happens.
