Why did TCU not throw Davis v K-State? Saving him for WVU does nothing if you dont win game 1?
I pondered this. Figured we needed to beat KSU w/ La Pour n the Friday night crew to have a real shot at winning the tournament. Not sure we can beat much of anyone w/o Davis or James.

Such a disappointing season. TCU baseball needs to do some soul searching to figure out how to get back on track. We've come to expect a lot for our baseball program. It has been slipping each year.
Make the TP the exception, recruit HS players that can play as freshmen. I think many teams have realized this year there are too many TP busts.

we didn't need to win the tournament - we needed to not get beat the first game. We are a bubble team for the post season but were in before the tourney started and are probably now out or maybe back to being the last 4 in and hoping there are not many surprise conference tournament winners to push us out of an at large.

But even a single win would have solidified our position - getting rolled by a bad Kstate team killed us.

That is the difference between Schloss and Loos - Schloss understood how the system worked and Loos just tries to coach baseball and hope it works out.

This year and 2024 show he is not the guy to lead a program at the level we should be at - no one in the B12 does less with more than we do currently.

Saarloos era at TCU has been mediocrity personified after his first year. Remember when TCU baseball was really good? Not in the past 3-4 years.

Time for a new HC, program fresh start.
Completely agree. We have talent, but we are not producing. Let’s see if our AD has the cojones…
