AT A PREMIUM
Scoring runs continues to be an issue for the Horned Frogs who are averaging just 4.5 per game.

An in-depth look at how TCU scores its runs shows that 65 hits have produced 96 of TCU's 148 runs on the season.

Additionally, the Frogs have scored 16 runs via the sacrifice fly, 10 on ground outs, seven on bases loaded walks, three on balks and wild pitches and one on a sacrifice bunt.

TCU has scored six or more runs just 10 times this season and owns a record of 9-1 in those contests. Eleven times, TCU has been held to two or fewer runs.

INSPIRING THE BEST
TCU has had the most success this season with Preston Morrison on the mound. The Frogs are 5-3 in games that he starts. Two of the losses have come late in the game after Morrison had departed.

Morrison is tied with Oklahoma's Jonathan Gray in a trio of categories. Each has started eight games and has tossed 60 1/3 innings en route a league-leading 1.19 ERA. The miniscule ERA is tied for 24th nationally.

The offense has provided more than enought run support for the sophomore as they are hitting .251 and are averaging 4.3 runs per game.

Friday saw Morrison toss his second career complete game. The only blemish on his line was a solo home run to lead off the seventh inning.

On the season, he is limiting opponents to a .202 batting average, has struck out 34 and issued just nine walks.
