Injuries. He's not on the hot seat yet.
wanna bet...how many years is that an excuse? he has no excuses this year with this roster, our schedule and the current plan to invest in new facilities. Especially when the issue year after year is a lack of a 3rd starter and a weak pen that can't throw a strike unless its down in the count and over the middle of the plate. We make a Super at least or I would say we will look elsewhere for options at least.

If someone doesn't step up in the bullpen, we aren't making any regionals or going to Omaha or anywhere this season.

I just don’t see why this roster was EVER thought to be a top 25 roster. Can’t hit, not one dependable reliever and below average defense.

I just hope we make the playoffs.

That pretty much sums up the game getting thrown out at second on a single to end the game.

And despite what the lady announcer said Franco does get a hit.

What happened to all these Top 10 recruiting classes TCU supposedly had? If it's true, there should be some quality depth on this team.
It seems that recruiting classes in the traditional sense no longer matter and depth on a team is a fleeting afterthought. Anyone who is not a starter is likely already considering the transfer portal.

Who is that UTA Coach?
Mike Trapasso. He was skipper at Hawaii for a long time and had a lot of success. they also got coach Rupp from Blinn two years ago (I think it was 2 yrs ago anyways…)

they have revamped their recruiting success and I think their offensive strategy is paying off with the better talent.
