A potential game saving catch? With two on and a four run deficit?
He got a little excited.A potential game saving catch? With two on and a four run deficit?
Also a no win situation (for KSU).Walter Quinn in the pitch the ninth in a no save situation.
They must have heard me talking about them on Friday.Frogs win 4-0.
Seventeen consecutive shutout innings for the Frogs.
That stat is so incredibly impressive!Frogs win 4-0.
Seventeen consecutive shutout innings for the Frogs.
Was wondering the same. Does the OC in baseball do as bad as the one in football seemed to do?What is the record for leaving the bases loaded with less than 2 outs and not scoring a run in a game?
Maybe so, Brewing, but at 95 I can still remember in detail the TCU campus in 1948, several of the 17-year-old girls who were there (most of us freshman were 17 when we enrolled), Dutch Meyer and the Frogs, Buster Brannon (wasn't he there in 1948?), M. E. Sadler, President (we hadn't heard of the word "chancellor" then), S. W. Hutton, registrar, Don Ver Duin, dean of men, BarracksAt 60 plus, memory often doesn't serve...
Looks like we've found our Sunday starter. Now if we can just find a reliable Friday night guy.
what's funny is how many people on here complain about Chuck....A potential game saving catch? With two on and a four run deficit?
May your memory remain sharp, sir.Maybe so, Brewing, but at 95 I can still remember in detail the TCU campus in 1948, several of the 17-year-old girls who were there (most of us freshman were 17 when we enrolled), Dutch Meyer and the Frogs, Buster Brannon (wasn't he there in 1948?), M. E. Sadler, President (we hadn't heard of the word "chancellor" then), S. W. Hutton, registrar, Don Ver Duin, dean of men, Barracks
W, X, Y and Z, Goode, Clark and Tom Brown Hall,
and so much more. And I'll bet you will be able to do the same when you hit the 90's.
The KSU announcers were good. They weren't homers and actually had some good insight on both teams.what's funny is how many people on here complain about Chuck....
He is 10x better than the average homer announcers who don't know crap about the other team or the game of baseball in general - but they sure know their "team"....
