GoFrogs: TCU Athletics Announces Changes to Gameday
FORT WORTH – With the start of another athletics season approaching, TCU has announced a few gameday changes, which include cashless concessions and a new gameday timeline for football.
Cashless Concessions
Starting with Thursday's 7 p.m. women's soccer match against Wisconsin, concession stands and bars at all TCU athletic venues will be cashless. TCU Athletics will accept all major credit cards, Visa gift cards and all forms of non-contact payment, including Apple & Google Pay.
The decision to go cashless comes at a time when many in the DFW Metroplex have already made the switch to non-contact payment, including the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks and the Texas Rangers.
With the removal of cash, fans should see quicker transactions and a more sanitary experience for fans and staff.
