Why would we want to do that? So we can keep underachieving? I don’t understand why you think he can turn it around next year.
Because we celebrate mediocrity now at TCU

From hiring a degenerate for a Chancellor to selecting a milk toast AD to extending Coach average in Football - it only seems appropriate we keep a baseball coach that defines the Mendoza line

Y'all are just going to have to accept the fact that maybe we've peaked in certain areas. It's a new age. New toys. New arms race. We clawed our way to the top in many sports. We did it the right way and then they moved the goalposts. I'm still a fan but I'm no longer a diehard. Y'all seem to think that a championship is in reach but it's not. 2014 proved that it never was. We fooled ourselves thinking if we just did it the right way we can see that mountain top. They were never going to let that happen. Now, we'll never be able to outspend. These kids are on 1 year deals. If things aren't going like they want in the beginning, they'll sulk and pout and know they can go somewhere else next year and still make money. Here's a fact: in the big 3 men's sports, every year we are going to bring new entitled primadonnas on campus, pay them more money than they've ever seen, and they'll come with their [ Finebaum ]ty attitudes and greedy, helicopter parents. And they'll leave. The next year we'll bring in someone else. Rinse, wash, repeat. With the exception of a selection few, no one cares about the logo on the front of the jersey. The only thing they play for is the name on the back. That's fine. I'm just not going to get suckered into the system.

Likely pitching matchups today and tomorrow:
Fri: LHP Maxx Yehl (7-1, 2.04 ERA, 79 K, 19 BB, 66.1 IP) vs. RHP Lance Davis (4-3, 4.18 ERA, 45 K, 16 BB, 71.0 IP)
Sat: RHP Chansen Cole (8-1, 2.71 ERA, 69 K, 25 BB, 69.2 IP) vs. RHP Zack James (6-0, 3.49 ERA, 44 K, 17 BB, 56.2 IP)
So a lefty tonight. Expect to see Arthur back in the lineup. Hope he swings the bat. Got our work cut out.

There is a lot of truth in this. $$$ is killing us. The degree at Tcu means nothing as the Nil dollar trumps everything and the player graduates not be able to tie his shoes

This team has been fairly mediocre all year. I can't remember the last time I was this disappointed in a season. When you think we were the preseason favorite to win the Big 12 and our lineup was full of 1st team Big 12 players. This season has been a disaster. Quite frankly, we maybe lucky to even make the NCAA playoffs. Talk about underperforming.

Shawn Robinson was ahead of his time.

I hate to say it but I'm in agreement with a big portion of what you said.

I'm planning to sit out college athletics in large part for the next five years - until the madness causes a correction.

Yes. Give him the opportunity and resources to make necessary changes. Obviously, we'll have a new pitching coach. Hopefully he'll make the changes on the other side as well.
He's hired current staff.
What makes you think that he'll make the right decisions?
Clearly, bringing back Coach Mo is a failed move.
