Looking at Utah's motivation for the Big 12 Tourney...they would have to win both of the remaining games against us, and BYU would have to lose both of their remaining games against Tech in order to finish in a tie for 12th place. Utah then holds the tie breaker against BYU. Tall order, but statistically possible. It will be interesting to see how much fight is left in the Utes.

I was surprised they did a post game interview with Cramer.

I thought it was pretty well done and I enjoyed it. The play by play guy, although he made a few blunders, was good. The color guy was a little soft spoken but insightful. Overall I’d give it two thumbs up. Really makes U of A’s look awful.

I wonder if it’s a money issue at Arizona. I know they’ve had serious money problems in recent years.

I think we have to win the tourney to host - with WVU having an RPI in the 20's, we would have a solid argument to host over them if we are the tourney champ but not if we finish 2nd behind them in the regular season and don't bring home the tourney title. Even Baseball America - who is showing us as a host in their latest prediction - is showing TCU as the auto bid for the B12 meaning they are predicting we win the tourney to get the host.
