Hope this is just a spot start for Louie while the weekend rotation gets revised. I just think he's more effective in relief. Let Sloan start Sundays and move Baumler to midweek. The numbers don't lie.

I'd let Brassfield have a shot at starting on Sundays after his performance against Fresno. He give up a single to the first batter he faced and then retired 17 straight.

I'd really like to leave Sloan in the bullpen that way we know for sure that we have at least one go to guy out there. Sloan and Parker have formed a pretty dynamic 1-2 punch on Friday nights so far. That's helped set the bullpen up for the rest of the weekend.

Rodriguez started last week against Air Force. It will probably be three innings for him and then a committee to finish it out.

Too bad they couldn’t review the missed balk in that review. He definately picks up his left foot before coming off the pitching plate to make the pickoff move. But hey, good to get that TOOTBLAN out of the way early
