Good question. It was…. Something. Frustrating for sureWas that a heartbreaking moment or just a frustrating one?

Tough decision. It was as you said, and the LF got to it quick, Still, it takes two perfect throws. In that situation he should have sent him. It was the PR ... that is why is in there for that situation. That ball got to the wall fast, and the left fielder didn't have to run all the way to the corner. Without knowing where Eaton was when the fielder grabbed the ball, I'm going to give our coach the benefit of the doubt.
Yeah, because we were hitting so well with runners in scoring position up to this pointThat ball got to the wall fast, and the left fielder didn't have to run all the way to the corner. Without knowing where Eaton was when the fielder grabbed the ball, I'm going to give our coach the benefit of the doubt.
Then it would be all credit to OSU for making to excellent relay throws.Imagine this board if Eaton was thrown out by 10 feet.

He said "this board". Let's be honest about it, this group wouldn't have given credit to the opponent in that situation. Then it would be all credit to OSU for making to excellent relay throws.
When your team is struggling sometimes you need to take a chance.
If only Strosnider had caught that fly ball that turned into a ground-rule double.
Well an Internet forum prob isn’t the best place to get feedback on job performance in any situation. Over the years I assume my parents have all complained about a lot of my calls to send guys or to hold them up. It’s easy to second guess for sure. You live w the decision as the one in the coaches box. And hopefully have enough time to improve your positioning, eye placement and ultimate decision making.Imagine this board if Eaton was thrown out by 10 feet.

According to DIBaseball, TCU has moved from solidly in the field to the last four in.
AgainFrom preseason top 10, to not even making the tournament.

Easy solution. Fire the entire coaching staff and let the entitled players transfer out. Reset program under new coach. Come back hungrier and stronger next season. At some point the players have to be held accountable. Some are making good money. Some are bitching about money they aren't making but aren't earning it either. You have parents talking about Omaha in September and making travel plans for June in February. Kirk definitely deserves some blame but maybe we just have a few entitled primadonas poisoning the team.
This. If everything from the above is true, then the entire program needs a hard restart.Easy solution. Fire the entire coaching staff and let the entitled players transfer out. Reset program under new coach. Come back hungrier and stronger next season.
well I agree for sure we have 5 guys that were in pre-season discussions for potential All American spots and 4 guys on our roster constantly touted as early round draft picks when their time comes.....but unlike with Branden Taylor, who played like an All American and top draft pick but acted like he never knew he would be considered for either, we seem to have some guys this year acting like they are All Americans already but not playing like it.At some point the players have to be held accountable.
