If TCU plays that in the opening game of a regional, the Frogs might be trying to fight their way back through the losers bracket which is no easy task.

It is unfortunate that Sloan's effectiveness has disappeared but you cannot trust him in key situations. He was left in two batters too long and probably should not have been inserted at all. He should only working in sports where the game conference title are not on the line until he works things out and gets back to his early season form.

LRod let it get away from us for good so the pen did not have a good outing.

Zona moved up into a three-way tie for third with us and Arizona State, which lost to Baylor. The Hillbillies were rained out. Cincy beat Kansas (we missed an opportunity there). Kansas State hammered the Mormons.

After yesterday the Hillbillies have played three less conference games than the next four teams behind them.

That disastrous weekend at UCF is looming large. Doesn't help losing the home series to ASU and possibly losing the series at Arizona. Those tiebreakers for tournament seeding could hurt. Obviously.
