GoFrogs: TCU Adds Pedrico Kravtsov, Woestendick to 2025 Roster

FORT WORTH –
TCU has reloaded ahead of the 2025 season.

Albert Pedrico Kravtsov and Cooper Woestendick will join the defending national champion Horned Frogs' roster as freshman ahead of their season debut on Saturday vs. Abilene Christian.

Pedrico Kravtsov signed with TCU in November after playing a professional schedule throughout the 2024 season. He achieved a career-high ATP singles ranking of No. 687 on Oct. 28, 2024.

Woestendick is a member of the Horned Frogs' No. 1 ranked USA recruiting class for 2025. He recently earned his high school diploma while taking online classes at the United States Tennis Association National Campus in Orlando, Fla. Woestendick enrolled at TCU ahead of the spring 2025 semester and has five years to play four seasons.

Pedrico Kravtsov and Woestendick are two of three freshmen on the Horned Frogs' roster alongside Roger Pascual. They join six returning players from last season's championship squad.

From Lleida, Spain, Pedrico Kravtsov boasts a Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) of 13.46. Pedrico Kravtsov reached his maiden final on the pro circuit in May at the M25 Vic. His first full summer as a professional also featured a semifinal run at M25 Zaragoza in September. Pedrico Kravtsov, one of four Spaniards on TCU's roster, enjoyed quartet of singles quarterfinal runs at M15 level tournaments as well.

Woestendick, originally from Olathe, Kan., is one of the most touted American players to ever sign with TCU. He rated No. 4 overall among U.S. players in the Tennis Recruiting Network rankings for the class of 2025. Woestendick was the third highest-rated American junior in the sport throughout 2024, as he boasted a career-high ITF world juniors ranking of No. 20.

A right-handed player, Woestendick won the 2024 Australian Open boys doubles championship last January. He then notched his first pro singles title three months later, winning the singles title at the M15 Vero Beach, regarded as the highest-attended futures event in the world. Woestendick also had the opportunity to play in the qualifying rounds for the Indian Wells Masters 1000 in March. He played on the junior side of all four Grand Slams this season.

TCU received the No. 2 ITA preseason team ranking and was picked first in the Big 12 Men's Tennis Preseason Coaches Poll.

First serve for Saturday's season-opener vs. ACU is set for 3 p.m. at the indoor Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.
