GoFrogs: Castain and Diorio Tabbed as All-Americans

- TCU women's soccer student-athletes Seven Castain and Bella Diorio have been tabbed United Soccer Coaches Association All-Americans.

Diorio was named to the second-team while Castain earned fourth-team honors.

Diorio, the Big 12 Forward of the Year, contributed 11 goals and 4 assists in her sophomore season, ranking third in the Big 12 for goals scored. She was also second in the league in game-winning goals, with four. Diorio was named to both the first-team All-Big 12 and the Big 12 All-Tournament Team.

Castain tied for the Big 12 lead with 13 goals this season, also leading the team with five game-winning goals. In a standout performance, she scored four goals in a 6-1 victory over No. 14 Colorado, becoming only the third player in TCU history to score four goals in a single match. Castain finished the year with six assists and earned first-team All-Big 12 honors along with a spot on the Big 12 All-Tournament Team.

Eight Horned Frogs have been named All-Americans in the past five seasons; Emily Alvarado, Gracie Brian, Messiah Bright, Seven Castain, Grace Collins, Bella Diorio, Brandi Peterson and Yazmeen Ryan.
