MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – TCU's second-half comeback effort came up short in a 76-67 loss at No. 6 West Virginia on Thursday in WVU Coliseum.

TCU (12-12, 5-10 Big 12) was led by Jaedon LeDee's career-high 20 points and eight rebounds. He scored 17 and had seven rebounds in the second half when the Frogs outscored the Mountaineers 49-44. West Virginia (18-7, 11-5 Big 12) was led by Jalen Bridges' career highs in points (22) and rebounds (12).

After making just four field goals in the first half, the Frogs trailed 32-18. In the second half, TCU went down low, making 28 of its 49 points, the most its scored in a half in Big 12 play this season.

TCU cut the deficit to under 10 points multiple times late in the game, including a margin of eight, 62-54, with 3:18 to play. LeDee's 20th point brought the Frogs to within seven points, 74-67, with 30 seconds left, before time ran out.

TCU will return home to play No. 15 Texas in its third and final game in a six-day span on Sunday at 6 p.m. The game will be broadcast through Big 12 Now on ESPN+.

Team Notes
- TCU fell to 3-16 all-time against West Virginia. The Mountaineers are 9-0 in games played in Morgantown in the all-time series.
- The Frogs were held to 18 first-half points, their lowest scoring output in any half this season. Conversely, TCU's 49 second-half points were the most it has scored in a half in conference play this season.
- The TCU bench outscored the WVU bench 24-4. The Frogs' +20 bench scoring margin was tied for their season best, last occurring against Missouri on Jan. 31.
- The Frogs only allowed 20 Mountaineer points in the paint which ties for the lowest amount surrendered to the opponent this season.
- TCU started with the lineup of Mike Miles, RJ Nembhard, PJ Fuller, Chuck O'Bannon Jr. and Kevin Samuel for the sixth consecutive game and sixth time this season (2-5).

Individual Notes
- Jaedon LeDee set a new career high with 20 points scored and tied his career high with eight rebounds.
- It was the first time in his career that LeDee led the Horned Frogs in scoring.
- LeDee also became the first Horned Frog since Sammy Yeager on Dec. 8, 2010 to record at least 20 points and eight rebounds off the bench.
- Mike Miles scored 15 points which moved him into ninth all-time in freshman scoring with 316. He passed Ronnie Moss who had 306 in the 2008-09 season.
- Miles was 3-of-6 from 3-point range, giving him 37 made 3-pointers this season. He passed Jeff Jacobs ('93-94) for sixth all-time on the TCU all-time freshman 3-pointers made leaderboard.
- Kevin Samuel scored 12 points and tied a team high with eight rebounds.
- RJ Nembhard dished out a game-high five assists.
- Nembhard had five points, snapping his 20-game double-digit scoring streak.
