This is the West Coast Conference U of San Diego not even a G5 school or SDSU from the MWC.

Why are we scheduling this level of a team, save the Tuesday practice/bodybag/record-enhancing "games"?

Maybe it's a bad omen for 2023. I hope not.

SD's RPI is 15 currently. They went 37-20 last season and 17-10 in conference.
They beat Vanderbilt to open the Corvallis Regional then lost the next two games.
They aren't a bad team.
They just routed TCU, 14-2.

I have a feeling this is going to be a disappointing baseball weekend. Apparently we are down 6 or 7 pitchers due to injury. Luckily none of the injuries are anything major.

We are going to have to hit very well and capitalize on scoring opportunities to win the last 2 games of the series. Hopefully we can get strong starts out of Kole Klecker and Cam Brown so we don’t have to score 12 runs or more to win each game.
