GoFrogs: Riley a Finalist for the Broyles Award

Thanks pal - this forum is a hoot

Focus on this week before you ramble about best in two decades. This team is not better than the peach bowl. Squeaking by so-so teams vs. 2014 blowing people out.

I don’t badmouth the team - Nothing against the team - disagree on the hype on here outside of the record. Obviously better than going 6-6. No chance this team wins the playoff - 2014 could have - much better D and depth. Is that badmouthing? Having thoughts and an opinion?

Max is nowhere near Boykin in terms of stats or pocket presence. Better year than his awful past but still has issues with sacks and pocket presence - will be obvious against a playoff team given what Texas did with blitzing.

Wonder why there’s no NFL talk about Max given he’s eligible? You seem to think he’s ion the same level as Caleb or CJ

He’ll get an invite to NYC but his odds of winning that or Davey award are nowhere near “serious” according to Vegas.

Just facts.
Duggan this year - 221/332 (66.5%), 3,070 yards, 9.2 yards/attempt, 29 TDs, 3 INTs
Boykin in 2015 - 256/395 (64.8%), 3,574 yards, 9.0 yards/attempt, 31 TDs, 10 INTs

Boykin threw 63 more passes. Other than that, Duggan is better in basically every major statistical category. And Boykin's '15 was much better than '14.

If someone wants to say TB is better than MD, fine. But Duggan is just as good as TB statistically.

Guys, give ticket123 a break. The entire meaning of his existence has been shattered this year. He's delusional, probably suicidal. He needs our sympathy, not our scorn.

Don't worry 123, it'll be ok.

Try using total yards and TDs too like the heisman committee. Boykin almost had 4,000 in 2014

Max’s current year is slightly better than Kenny Hill’s in 2017. Kenny had more rushing TDs.

He threw 492 passes (38+/game) in 2014, I hope he "almost" threw for 4,000 yards.

Just because an offense goes hurry up all the time and therefore runs a bunch more plays doesn't make them "better". He also had a 61% completion % and 7.9 yards/attempt.

I’m a happy camper - let’s circle back if TCU makes the playoffs
Pulling against the Frogs, Duggan, as usual. Enjoy your disappointments when the Frogs make the playoffs and Duggan wins the O'Brien and goes to NYC for the Heisman, Riley wins the Broyles and Dykes is named National COY.

Are you pulling against the frogs? Why did you only say the frogs make the playoffs?

So you’re dead serious a different QB will win the heisman but not the davey O’Brien?

Lamar won the heisman and not the O’Brien - don’t think it’s ever happened recently outside of that
