FORT WORTH – TCU senior guard Noah Reynolds was named Big 12 Conference Co-Newcomer of the Week on Monday.
The Peoria, Ill., native averaged 20.5 points and 4.5 assists over the past week. Reynolds had a season-high 23 points on 9-of-16 shooting, including 3-of-6 from 3-point range in TCU's 90-81 loss at Arizona and tied a season-high with seven assists.
In TCU's 63-62 win over Kansas State on Saturday, Reynolds scored 18 points, including the game-winning layup with 12.8 seconds remaining.
For the week, he shot 55.2 percent from the field and 50 percent (4-of-8) from 3-point range.
Also earning newcomer of the week was Iowa State's Joshua Jefferson. Javon Small of West Virginia was named player of the week.
