FORT WORTH—Three local Fort Worth businesses plan to help paint the town purple Saturday while TCU takes on Florida State in its first-ever appearance at the College World Series in Omaha, Neb.
Buffalo Wild Wings (5601 South Hulen Street), Cooper’s BBQ (301 Stockyards Boulevard) and Pappas Burger (2700 West Freeway) each will host separate watch parties for the Horned Frogs’ 1 p.m. CWS opener against the Seminoles. The respective businesses plan to offer food and/or beverage specials while welcoming fans to gather and cheer on the Frogs.
