TUCSON, Ariz – Arizona threw everything it had at No. 11 TCU, but the Horned Frogs had an answer at every turn.

TCU roared to an 85-73 victory over the Wildcats on Sunday inside the McKale Center. Four players scored in double figures in a game TCU shot 56 percent from the floor (33-59) and drilled 11 three-pointers. TCU led for 36:13 and never trailed by more than one point.

The victory was TCU's 24th of the 2024-25 campaign – tied for the second-most in a season in program history – and ensured the Frogs will carry a share of first place in the Big 12 into the final two weeks of the regular season. TCU (24-3, 12-2 Big 12) is tied with No. 14 Kansas State and No. 25 Baylor atop the conference standings with four games remaining.

Madison Conner paired 18 points on 7-10 shooting with four assists in her return to Tucson. The Chandler, Ariz. native played two-and-a-half seasons for Arizona before transferring to TCU in 2023. She was the second player to sign with the Horned Frogs following Mark Campbell's appointment as head coach. Conner played an average of 12.5 minutes per game as a Wildcat. Sunday's performance marked the 52nd time the recently minted Drysdale Award finalist has scored in double figures as a Frog.

Sedona Prince powered home a 22-point, 12-rebound double-double, her 25th in a TCU jersey. The 6-7 center also accounted for five of the Horned Frogs' 21 assists.

Aaliyah Roberson netted a season-high 18 points over 19 minutes. She converted 7-9 looks from the field and finished 4-6 behind the arc.

Hailey Van Lith pitched in 11 points and four dimes.

Donovyn Hunter matched Prince with five assists.

TCU overcame 30 points from Skyler Jones on a day the Wildcats drained a season high 12-18 three-pointers.

Arizona (15-12, 6-8 Big 12) hit five of its final six shots in the opening frame to stay within a point of TCU at 18-17.

Roberson knocked down two 3-pointers and sparked an 8-0 run that staked the Frogs to their first double digit lead, 32-22, with 5:09 to go before halftime. The Wildcats countered with eight unanswered of their own over the ensuing 50 seconds.

Prince punched back with eight straight points and restored the Frogs' multi-possession lead. She entered the locker room with 14 points and five rebounds.

Conner beat the buzzer from the top of the arc as TCU took a 45-38 advantage into the intermission.

Deasia Merrill proved to be a sparkplug off the bench with the teams tied at 52 the six-minute mark of the third. The center knocked down a pair at the charity stripe on TCU's first trip down the court out of a timeout. Merrill then capped a 6-0 run via a fast break layup. The Horned Frogs held the Wildcats to just one basket over the final 5:30 of the frame.

TCU scored on four straight possessions and widened its lead to 76-65 with 4:47 to go. Roberson delivered the dagger, drilling her fourth 3-pointer of the afternoon to put TCU on top 81-69 with less than two minutes remaining.

The Horned Frogs dominated the paint on both ends. TCU racked up 42 points in the paint to the Wildcats' 24 and finished with a 30-23 advantage on the glass.

Arizona was without leading scorer Jada Williams (12.5 ppg).

TCU completes its swing through Arizona with a visit to Tempe on Wednesday to battle Arizona State. The ballgame will be the first-ever meeting between the Horned Frogs and Sun Devils (8-18, 2-12 Big 12).
