GoFrogs: No. 1 Kansas Defeats TCU, 75-66
LAWRENCE, Kan. Desmond Bane's third-consecutive 20-point performance and a strong 3-point shooting performance was not enough as the TCU men's basketball team fell, 75-66, at No. 1 Kansas on Wednesday at Allen Fieldhouse.

Bane scored 24 points on 6-of-10 shooting from 3-point range. The six threes gave the senior 243 for his career, which ties him with Corey Santee for the most in program history.

TCU (16-14, 7-10) started 1-for-10 to begin the game, but finished the half making nine of its final 10 shots, including six-straight from 3-point range, to take a 37-35 lead at the half. A big reason for the TCU lead was Edric Dennis, who was 5-of-6 from 3-point range in the first half and scored 15 points.

Dennis was held just one 3-pointer in the second half, but TCU held a lead, 46-43, with 14:32 remaining. However, Kansas (27-3, 16-1) went on a 15-1 run to lead 58-47 with 10:33 to play. The Jayhawks, who got a career-high 31 points and 14 rebounds out of Udoka Azubuike, did not relinquish the lead the rest of the way and held the Frogs to just 2-of-12 shooting for close to a 10 minute stretch midway through the second half.
