GoFrogs: Morris Wins on Day One of Clyde Hart Classic

WACO, Texas –
TCU wrapped up the first day of competition at the Clyde Hart Classic on Friday at the Hart Track and Field Stadium.

Closing out the night was Gracie Morris' spectacular win in the 1500m. She ran the current No. 1 time in the country this outdoor season with her winning time of 4:17.93. London Culbreath clocked a 4:34.65 to finish second.

Ryan Martin placed second overall in the men's 1500m with a personal-best time of 3:49.96. Also running personal-bests were Stone Burke (3:51.57) and Gabriel Diaz (3:53.45).

In the men's long jump, Patrick Sylla placed third overall with his leap of 7.19m (23' 7.25"). Also notching a third-place finish was Rachel Hall in the 200m with her time of 23.87.

Both Samantha Callaway and Mathilda Bjorklund placed fourth in their respective throwing events. Bjorklund threw a 55.96m (183' 7") in the hammer and Callaway recorded a 47,30m (155' 2") in the women's discus.

In the men's 200m, Donnie James ran a season-best 20.91 to take sixth overall.
