FORT WORTH – Camille Min-Gaultier is establishing herself as one of the top freshman golfers in America.

The first-year Horned Frog shot a one-under 139 over the first two rounds of play at Colonial Country Club in the Charles Schwab Women's Collegiate Invitational. Min-Gaultier is tied for eighth and will start four shots back of tournament co-leaders Kiara Romero (Oregon and Mackenzie Lee (SMU) in Tuesday's final round.

Min-Gaultier's two-round scorecard ranks second among all freshmen in a field boasting 34 of the nation's top 100 players. She bridged five birdies and was four-under across an 18-hole stretch spanning rounds one and two. Min-Gaultier closed birdie on holes one and two to finish even-par in round one. The nation's No. 71 ranked player, Min-Gaultier then picked up birdies on three of her first eight holes to begin her second stroll across Colonial.

From La Londe-les-Maures, France, Min-Gaultier has now shot even or under par in 13 of her last 20 rounds dating back to October. She is hunting her third top 10 finish of the spring and fourth of the season. Min-Gaultier has notched six top-20s over her last seven starts.

Collectively, TCU sits a solo ninth out of 15 teams with a score of 16-over 576. The 16th-ranked Horned Frogs ascended three spots in round two via a five-over 285. Just seven strokes separate teams four through 11 on the leaderboard.

No. 3 Oregon and No. 9 Wake Forest are tied for first at even par. Including TCU, 11 of the 15 participating teams cracked the top 20 of the latest Scoreboard team rankings.

Kirstin Angosta shot an even 70 in round two and is tied for 31st at five-over (145). The sophomore was bogey free over her final 17 holes. She notched her 15th round of par or better – tied with Min-Gaultier for the team lead – with her second-round score.

Meagan Winans is one stroke back of Angosta and tied for 39th. She played even-par golf over her final eight holes and punctuated the marathon day with a birdie on 18.

Sofia Barroso Sá is tied for 50th (+8, 148) and Gracie McGovern is tied for 59th (+11, 151) to round out TCU's lineup. McGovern shaved seven strokes off her scorecard in round two, shooting a two-over 72. Barroso Sá was positioned to par the course in round two before an untimely triple bogey on 18.

TCU finished three-under on par-3s. Only the tournament-leading Ducks and Demon Deacons posted a better aggregate score.
