McLean smart enough to go for a tie. #go Cardinals
I have no problem with either of those shots…you not gonna get better shots than that. We had numerous open 3 pointers all night long. These were all decent shooters before they got here, at some point it’s gotta be something our staff is not doing with these guys.

Or just one of those nights. They did hit 45% against UT in the scrimmage. I think we'll end up being a good shooting team. I'm more worried about rebounding. That's something that is harder to correct.

That point was the 0-7 start from beyond the arc. Thats when you say no more threes until we have the lead. When you’re 3-26, you definitely go for the tie…even if they stay on the bench for our last shot.

Ernest Udeh in only 22 minutes as the starting center last night with Miami had, 14 rebounds, 2 blocks, 14 points (5-5 and 4-6 from the line), 1 steal, 1 assist and one turnover. I am concerned this staff doesn’t know how to develop big men; I still don’t think they have a former big man on the coaching staff.

From Jamie Plunkett—
There were clear concerns about this TCU squad heading into the season, especially when it comes to frontcourt defense and rebounding. The Frogs lost center Ernest Udeh to the transfer portal (he had a 14-point, 14-rebound double-double for Miami tonight), and opted not to enter the center market to any real degree, as prices continued to rise for premium interior players.

We won the second half by 12. Lost the first half by 16. Not sure what I saw last night. Bad officiating but that was not the problem. We played the game without a center and it showed. Just outplayed, and you have to give the opponent some credit. Is Posey hurt?
