Frogs on the Podium:

Gold - Men's 4x400
The men's 4x400 relay team took home its third Big 12 title in the past four years between indoor and outdoor seasons. Derrick Mokaleng's 45.47 anchor leg propelled the Frogs from third to first in the final 400m of the race.

Johnson made her presence known in her first Big 12 Championship. The freshman collected the first medal of the day for TCU after clearing 1.79m in the high jump. She eventually fell to Oklahoma's Lavinja Jurgens in a jump off after a protest.

Brock ran a 6.70 in the 60m to earn a silver medal in the event. His prelim time (6.67) on Friday was the fastest time in the event.

Mapaya jumped 16.06 en route to second place in the triple jump.

Mokaleng ran a 46.11 in the 400m for a second-place finish.

Longmire garnered a silver medal in the long jump (6.39m) on Friday.

Bronze - Jostyn Andrews, Mariah Castillo
Andrews clocked in a season-best 1:09.88 en route to third place.

Castillo got the bronze medal in the mile with a time of 4:44.21.

Record Breaker
Castillo broke her own 800m record from yesterday. Her 2:08.54 placed her fourth overall. That record had previously stood since 1986.

Men's 200m
Tinotenda Matiyenga (6th) and Simbarashe Maketa (7th) combined for five points in the 200m.

Men's 400m
In just his second collegiate race, Ethan Brown scored at the Big 12 Championship. The freshman went 47.49 in the 400m, finishing 8th.

Women's Triple Jump
Freshman Tosin Alao placed seventh in the triple jump and turned in a collegiate-best 12.77m (41-10 3/4).

Women's 4x400
TCU's women's 4x400 team that consisted of Asiah Fields, Kiana Banks, Kyla Robinson-Hubbard and Satanya Wright came in 4th place.

Coach Anderson's Thoughts
"The 4x400 guys really did a good job competing and being able to bring home another Big 12 title for TCU," head coach Darryl Anderson said. "We also had quite a few runner ups with Jill, TJ and Derrick. I thought we showed improvement this weekend. It's been a rough indoor season from the weather perspective. We've had countless alternative training days. I think the group that's going on to the NCAA meet should fair well there."
