Late Rally Falls Short at OSU
STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State made 11 3-pointers to hand TCU its third-straight loss, 68-61, Monday at Gallagher-Iba Arena.

A Desmond Bane 3-pointer brought what was once a 14-point second-half lead to just two points, 61-59 with 2:40 to play. However, the Horned Frogs (17-9, 5-8) missed their last four shots as the Cowboys (10-16, 2-10) snapped a five-game losing streak.

TCU led 12-9 early on until OSU scored 16 unanswered points over the next five minutes to take a 25-12 lead with 9:41 to play in the first half. The Cowboys made eight 3-pointers in the first half, four by Thomas Dziagwa, and led 39-30 at the break. Dziagwa finished with a game-high 23 points

Bane and Alex Robinson tied for team-high point honors with 19. JD Miller also scored in double figures with 11.

Team Notes
- For the second consecutive game, TCU played without its second-leading scorer Kouat Noi. The Frogs had eight players available.
- TCU dropped to 7-26 all-time against Oklahoma State. It was the first win for the Cowboys in the last four contests in the series.
- TCU outshot OSU from the field, 42.9 percent to 37.5 percent. TCU dropped to 16-2 this season when outshooting its opponent.
- TCU was 10-of-11 from the free throw line for a season-best 90.9 percent.
- TCU had a season-low eight assists.
- OSU's 11 made 3-pointers were the second-most made against TCU this season (15 at Baylor).

Individual Notes
- Desmond Bane scored 19 points, to move into a tie with Jeff Jacobs for 28th on TCU's all-time scoring list with 1,081 points. It was the 19th time this season and the 42nd time in his last 55 games that Bane scored in double figures.
- Bane was 3-of-8 from 3-point range. Bane has had a made 3-pointer in 47 of his last 55 games.
- Alex Robinson scored 19 points and passed Ricky Hall to move into 30th on the all-time scoring chart with 1,076 points.
- Robinson had a team-high five assists. It was the 23rd time he led the team in assists. Robinson has recorded at least five assists in 17 games this season and 71 games in his 96-game TCU career.
- Robinson had one steal and moved into a tie for fifth place all-time with Malcolm Johnson with 137 career steals at TCU.
- Kevin Samuel finished with five blocked shots. It was the third time this season Samuel had at least five blocks. He has recorded at least one block in each of the least nine games and multiple blocks in the last six.
- JD Miller played in his 129th career game, tying with Kyan Anderson and Garlon Green for third for the most games played ever at TCU.
