LaPour Earns All-America Accolades
Sophomore led TCU with eight wins on the season

FORT WORTH – TCU baseball's Tommy LaPour has been named a second-team NCBWA All-American. Additionally, he was selected as an ABCA first-team All-Central Region performer.
LaPour was a dominating force as a starter this season. He ranks second in the Big 12 with a 3.09 ERA over 16 starts. Earlier this season, LaPour put together a stretch of six consecutive quality starts, the first such streak since Nick Lodolo in 2019. He led the team in wins (8), innings pitched (90.1) and strikeouts (88) while limiting opponents to a .231 average. In league play, LaPour was 6-0 with a 2.98 ERA. In 60 1/3 innings of work, he fanned 62 and limited opponents to a .230 average.
An outstanding month of April earned LaPour NCBWA National Pitcher of the Month honors. He went 4-0 in his four starts with a 0.91 ERA. The left hander worked 29.2 innings, allowing 12 hits and three earned runs, walking 10 and striking out 29. Opponents hit .120 vs. LaPour in April.
LaPour earned first-team all-Big 12 accolades as well as earning a spot on the Big 12 All-Tournament team.
TCU has produced 49 All-America selections in program history. Since head coach Kirk Saarloos arrived on campus in 2013, TCU has had 19 selections.
