GoFrogs: Hollins on Rimington Trophy Watch List

LINCOLN, Neb. -- TCU's Kellton Hollins is on the watch list for the Rimington Trophy, presented to the nation's top center.

Hollins started all 11 games he played last season and was a team captain in each contest. The junior from Zachary, La., is also a nominee for the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team and is the Horned Frogs' Big 12 Champions for Life representative.

TCU All-American Jake Kirkpatrick was the 2010 Rimington Trophy recipient.
  2. If you believe JC over at 24/7, and I always do, there is a good chance he isn't the starter come Big 12 play...
    Froggish and jake102 like this.
  3. He isn’t the starter per TCUs most recent depth chart...
  4. Was he moved on the line to a different position or what’s the story?

We learned from Oregon how important the C position is
  5. No, he’s 2nd string. He had a pretty rough season last year
    Punter1 and Froggish like this.
  6. Maybe have him play guard.
  7. I would imagine he’s going to end up backing up center and the guard position. Meyers will play guard but be first man up at one of the Tackle positions. Wes would slide into his spot if needed. Really hope one of the young Tackles grows up and becomes someone we can count on because that 2020 OL could be really ugly loosing at least 3 starters.
  8. Don’t sleep on Blake Hickey
