HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. -- Junior David Ravetto shot a career-best 7-under 209 to win the Mission Inn Spring Spectacular and lead TCU to the team title Sunday.

Competing as an individual, Ravetto shot 2-under 70 on the day. The transfer from Texas Wesleyan won his first tournament at TCU and did so by four strokes. It was his first individual title since winning the DBU Patriot Classic on April 4, 2017 as a sophomore at Texas Wesleyan.

TCU had five golfers finish in the top seven. Junior Stefano Mazzoli finished third at 2-under 214. Mazzoli has finished at or under par in all nine tournaments this season and Sunday was his fifth top 10 finish of the year.

Junior Hayden Springer tied a season low at 1-over 217 to finish fourth. His 3-under 69 in the final round was his best since shooting a 4-under 68 on Sept. 1 at the Carmel Cup.

Junior Triston Fisher finished sixth at 3-over 219 and junior Pierre Mazier finished tied for seventh at 4-over 220.

The Horned Frogs, which began the tournament ranked No. 27 by GolfStat, won the tournament by 20 strokes over second place Toledo. It was TCU's second tournament win of the season, its second in the past three tournaments having won the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate on Feb. 27. TCU will next compete at the El Macero Classic in El Macero, Calif., April 13-15 before the Big 12 Championship April 23-25 in Tulsa, Okla.
