GoFrogs: Frogs Fall at No. 20 Iowa State
AMES, Iowa – A 47.8 percent shooting night by No. 20 Iowa State (13-2, 3-0 Big 12) was too much for the TCU women's basketball team (11-3, 1-2) to overcome on Wednesday night as it dropped a 92-54 decision at Hilton Coliseum.

Kianna Ray led the Horned Frogs with 10 points and five rebounds in the loss. Jordan Moore, Lauren Heard and Amy Okonkwo all added eight points each as well.

THE RUNDOWN
The Frogs struggled to find their rhythm offensively early in the contest, missing their first seven shots. They didn't let that effect their effort on the defensive end, however, as they forced seven turnovers and did not allow a field goal over the final 4:51 of the quarter.

TCU entered the second period down just 14-10, but Iowa State used an 18-2 run to take a commanding 38-20 lead into halftime.

The Cyclones continued to apply the pressure in the second half, shooting 64.3 percent in the third quarter and 52.9 percent in the fourth to hand the Frogs their third loss of the season.

STAT OF THE GAME
1,184 – With eight points against Iowa State, senior Jordan Moore now has 1,184 for her career, moving her past Tricia Payne for 11th on TCU's career scoring chart. Payne had 1,178 from 1998-2003 for the Frogs.

QUOTE OF THE DAY
TCU Head Coach Raegan Pebley
"Iowa State out-worked us tonight. I think tonight is a key moment for our team. I know we got beat by a good team, but we did not put forth near our best effort and that is something we are always going to hold ourselves accountable to."

UP NEXT
TCU will return home to take on No. 4 Baylor at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12 at Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena. The contest will be televised on FOX Sports Southwest.
