GoFrogs: Frogs Drop Game to No. 3 Jayhawks, 60-46
FORT WORTH – A stagnant offense was unable to match a solid defensive showing as the TCU men's basketball team fell to No. 3 Kansas, 60-46, Saturday afternoon at Schollmaier Arena.

The Horned Frogs (13-10, 4-6 Big 12) struggled offensively in the first half, as Kansas (20-3, 9-1 Big 12) held them to a season-low 18 points on 29.6 percent shooting. TCU had no answers for the Jayhawks' Udoka Azubuike as he totaled 14 points, grabbed nine rebounds and blocked three shots through the first 20 minutes of action. He finished with 20 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks.

The second half showed signs of life from the Frogs, who put together a 7-0 run in which they forced three turnovers. Desmond Bane scored 13 of his 20 total points in the second half, while the defense forced 10 turnovers and held Azubuike to six points. With 7:03 left to play, RJ Nembhard hit a 3-pointer to cut the KU lead to four points, 44-40. Kansas countered with a 15-4 run to close out the game.

Battling with Azubuike primarily was sophomore Kevin Samuel, who finished with 10 rebounds and five blocked shots, but was held scoreless for the second time this season. Freshman PJ Fuller finished with 10 points, his best in a Big 12 game.
