FORT WORTH, Texas – Fueled by a career-high 27 points from sophomore Kouat Noi, the TCU Horned Frogs topped Eastern Michigan 87-69 on Monday night inside Schollmaier Arena.

In its best offensive performance of the season, TCU (4-1) shot 60.7 percent from the field and scored a season-high 87 points.

The Frogs got off to a slow start after falling behind 13-4 early against the Eagles (4-4). They answered by going on a 12-2 run to retake the lead with 8:16 to play and would lead for the remainder of the game.

Jaylen Fisher caught fire midway through the first half as the junior scored a team-leading nine points in the half by going 3-for-5 from behind the arc. TCU took a 35-24 advantage into halftime after shooting 53.8 percent from the field.

TCU came out of the locker room and hit its first five field goals to start the second half.The Frog bench came up big and accounted for 45 of the team's 87 points (51.7 percent). Noi was a big part of that as he scored 22 of his 27 points in the second half. TCU, who led by as many as 23, cruised the rest of the way.

Five Frogs scored in double figures with Noi pacing TCU by scoring a career-high 27 points in only 27 minutes of action while shooting an impressive 5-for-8 from downtown. Redshirt freshman Kevin Samuelfollowed with 15 points and seven rebounds. Fisher totaled 12 points and was 4-of-8 from 3-point range. Junior Desmond Bane and senior JD Millereach put up 11 points for the Frogs.

TCU hosts Central Michigan on Friday at 6:30 p.m., in Schollmaier Arena. The game will be televised on FOX Sports Southwest.

- The Frogs held Eastern Michigan to two points in the first five minutes of the game.
- After trailing 11-2, TCU closed the first half on a 33-13 run.
- TCU played on a Monday night for the first time this season. TCU is now 7-2 on Monday in the Dixon Era.
- TCU had a season-high 11-point lead at the halftime break to mark the first double-digit lead at halftime since TCU faced Texas last February.
- The 11-point advantage, 35-24, is the biggest halftime lead the Frogs have owned this season.

- TCU shot 60.7 from the field, the highest field goal percentage the Frogs have made since shooting 61.8 percent against William and Mary on Dec. 22, 2017.
- TCU scored 42 points in the paint, the most since Feb. 21, 2018 when the Frogs scored 50 against Iowa State.
- TCU had 31 assists to just 10 turnovers. It was the most assists in a game for TCU since dishing out 39 against Central Oklahoma on Dec. 9, 2000.

Individual Notes
- Kevin Samuel scored 15 points on 7-of-9 shooting from the field, five of which were dunks. For the season, 12 of Kevin Samuel's 21 field goals have been dunks.
- Jaylen Fisher scored 12 points, his first game in double figures since Jan. 13, 2018 against Oklahoma when he scored a career-high 22.
- Kouat Noi scored a career-high 27 points and was 5-of-8 from 3-point range. He has made a 3-pointer in 19 of his last 20 games. The scoring total is the most for him since Feb. 17, 2018 in the game against Oklahoma State.
- Jaylen Fisher was 4-of-8 from 3-point range, which tied his career high in 3-pointers made.
- Alex Robinson moved into fifth on the TCU all-time assist list with 13 in the contest. He passed Darrell Browder (459) with 463 assists.
- JD Miller scored 11 points and has scored in double figures in five-straight games for the first time in his career.
