GoFrogs: Donati Selected to Participate in Coalition Academy

FORT WORTH --
TCU's Jeremiah Donati has been selected by the National Coalition for Minority Football Coaches as one of 12 athletics directors nationally to participate in the Coalition Academy.

The NCMFC includes 12 prospects primed for upcoming head coaching opportunities in college football. This unique coaching academy is the first of its kind at the highest levels of college football, pairing influential athletic directors with rising minority football coaches. This is a purposeful year-long program tying together mentorship, networking and advocacy to help advance the next generation of minority head coaches. The Coalition Academy helps to counteract the narrative of a lack of qualified minority coaches to fill available positions and is helping to bring parity to the hiring process in college football.

Donati is in his fifth year as the Horned Frogs' director of intercollegiate athletics and 11th year overall at TCU.

The Coalition Academy was started in 2021 as part of a series of initiatives spearheaded by Coalition founder and University of Maryland Head Football Coach Mike Locksley. After its inaugural year, the Academy had three of 12 participating coaches secure head coaching positions: Tony Elliott (Virginia), Marcus Freeman (Notre Dame) and Jay Norvell (Colorado State). Several other Academy coaches were interviewed for FBS head coach openings and were final candidates.
