Gofrogs: Clark Cards Tourney's Low Final-Round Score
RIO GRANDE, P.R. -- Annika Clark's even-par 71 was the tournament's low score on the day as TCU concluded play Tuesday with a sixth-place finish at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic.
Clark recorded three birdies in a five-hole stretch on the back nine, enabling her to surge into a tie for ninth individually. It was the second top-10 finish in the last three tournaments for the junior from Highlands, Texas, and the sixth of her career.
Yeji Shin, in just her second tournament as a Horned Frog and first as a member of the lineup, tied for 13th at 226. It was her fifth career top-20 result.
Emmy Martin and Greta Bruner both had a birdie for TCU.
The Horned Frogs will return to action Feb. 26 at The Dickson in The Woodlands, Texas.
