We’re the 3 seed headed toward final week of league play with a good shot at the 2 seed. If you told me at the start of the year we’d be here without Abeldt and mostly without Kleck I’d take it.

Klecker wasn't good last year (5.96 ERA, 1-3 in 9 starts). Don't know what you expected from him this year.

The best thing on Sunday was seeing that possibly Mason Bixby has worked things out.

He worked 1.1 innings allowed a hit, fanned three and walked one. Plus he topped out at 98-99.
