MIAMI, FLA. – No. 1 TCU beach volleyball (14-0) remained unbeaten after sweeping day one of the FIU Surf N' Turf Invitational in Miami, Fla. The Horned Frogs collected two ranked victories, topping No. 2 USC, 4-1, and No. 14 FIU, 3-2.
The Horned Frogs halted the Trojans 46-match win streak, picking up their first program victory over No. 2 USC.
Six Horned Frogs put together perfect 2-0 days: Hailey Brockett, Anhelina Khmil, Sutton MacTavish, Kate Privett, Rochelle Scott and Ana Vergara.
QUICK HITS AGAINST No. 2 USC:
• Sutton MacTavish and Ana Vergara scored the first point of the day with their straight-set victory from the No. 2 position: 21-17, 21-16.
• The duo tallied their second win and second ranked victory together this season.
• MacTavish improved her record this season to 11-2 and Vergara to 10-1.
• Kate Privett and Anhelina Khmil notched the second point of duel for the Frogs in a straight set victory at the No. 4 position: 21-16, 21-19.
• The pairing collected their fourth victory of the season as a duo.
• Privett improved her record to 12-1 and Khmil remained undefeated at 12-0.
• Daniela Alvarez and Tania Moreno secured the Horned Frog victory for the seventh time this season, at the No. 1 position: 21-11, 21-11.

• The pairing improved their winning streak to 12 matches.
• The duo notched their 66th collegiate career victory.
• Rochelle Scott and Hailey Brockett tallied the final point for TCU in a three-set victory from No. 5: 18-21, 21-16, 15-10.
• This duo remained perfect as partners, improving to 6-0.
• Rochelle notched her 80th career win as Horned Frog and Brockett, her 91st.
