Baseball Ranked No. 10 In D1Baseball Preseason Poll​

TCU ranked in the preseason for the 17th year in a row

FORT WORTH – For the 17th straight season, the TCU baseball team will open the season ranked in the Top 25. The Horned Frogs check in at No. 10 in the D1Baseball.com preseason poll.

TCU is one of two Big 12 squads ranked in the Top 25 with Arizona checking in at No. 24. The 2026 schedule features four weekend opponents ranked in the preseason poll. The Frogs will open the season against No. 23 Vanderbilt (Feb. 13) and No. 7 Arkansas (Feb. 14) at the Shriners Children's College Showdown at Globe Life Field in Arlington. The following weekend, the Frogs will take on preseason No. 1 UCLA (Feb. 20-22) in Los Angeles. The Frogs and the Wildcats will play a three-game series at Lupton (April 10-12).

In the only other poll released to this point, TCU checked in at No. 11 in the Perfect Game poll. A trio of Frogs – Sawyer Strosnider (1st), Tommy LaPour (2nd) and Noah Franco (3rd) were all named to Perfect Game's preseason All-American squads.

Spring practice officially gets underway Monday, Jan. 12. The season opens Feb. 13 against No. 23 Vanderbilt at 3 p.m.
