Well Dave Lawn has announced he is retiring at the end of the season. So we will be getting another pitching coach this summer. So the opportunity is there for a different voice. (Although I’m a HUGE fan of Lawn and I think we will struggle to get a presence to match his)If Saarloos stays, he needs a better hitting coach and a real pitching coach. I believe Saarloos knew we were over-rated. He should have never scheduled UCLA as that series blew all confidence this team had. Even if we had no pitching injuries, this group can't hit. If we don't get lots of walks, we aren't scoring much. ASU had several hitters that were better than anyone we have.
