FORT WORTH – Due to projected inclement weather in the Fort Worth area, TCU's home opener against Abilene Christian has been moved to Wednesday, Feb. 20. Game time will remain at 6:30 p.m.
Additionally, the Horned Frogs announce that Saturday's start time against Grand Canyon will move from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. to accommodate a busy slate of contests on the TCU campus. The three-game series against the Lopes is slated to begin Friday night at 6:30. The series finale is set for 1 p.m. on Sunday.
The Horned Frogs, ranked as high as No. 16 in the national polls, opened the season with a 2-1 record at the MLB4 Tournament in Scottsdale, Ariz. TCU handed Virginia a 9-4 loss before routing No. 1 Vanderbilt, 10-2, on Sunday. In the win over the Commodores, head coach Jim Schlossnagle picked up his 650thin a TCU jersey.
