Saarloos hiring BM back is a fireable offense on its own.
Do we know what the budget is for coaches?

The Mosiello "hit with 2 strikes or walk approach" doesn't work with this team because this team isn't loaded with plus hitters. Hitters with 2 strikes are extremely disadvantaged. Hitters with 0 strikes "if" they're ready to hit have much better odds. When we do swing with 0 or 1 strike, has anyone noticed how often we foul the pitch. We aren't really ready to hit with 0 strikes because they're conditioned not to. Teams know we aren't swinging, so pitchers are confidently going after strike one, knowing we'll take a breaking ball for strike 2, or flail away and hit something weak. This approach is even hurting the plus hitters we do have.[ Finebaum ] we've done it in the past. We had arguably our best 2 hitters start off the 9th inning of the 2nd game and we went down without a fight, down by 1 run and we went 3 up and 3 down with 2 strikeouts.
On the other side, pitchers that start 0-1, are at a huge advantage. Would love to see % of TCU pitchers starting 0-1, and likewise hitters doing the same! The Mosiello "hit with 2 strikes or walk approach" doesn't work with this team because this team isn't loaded with plus hitters. Exactly. What's the old saying? A pitcher's best friend...strike 1. Not saying go up there swinging away at anything. Just don't handcuff your hitters with this mentality that you have to be a 2 strike hitter. If the pitch can be driven oppo before it becomes strike 1, do it. But get ready to be on-time and hit that pitch in the on-deck circleOn the other side, pitchers that start 0-1, are at a huge advantage. Honestly - my perception of Buddie is he is just so happy to be here, he could not careless if we ever get back to where we were before - just trying to tread waterSaw him after the game. He didn't seem concerned.
